  • Designed and authorized by LegoMocLoc, the MOC-38478 movie scene model, Defense of the Canyon is based on Helm's Deep. This moc includes the Hornburg, Lofty Walls, the Fortress of Helm, the tall watchtower of Helm Hammerhand, and a section of the Glittering Caverns, which were known for their beauty.
  • The Helmklamm, named after Helm Hammerhand, was a fortified gorge in the White Mountains that was located below the Thrihyrne. It was close to the Westfold and was commonly known as the site of the Hornburg. It later became famous for the Battle of the Hornburg, a major battle of the War of the Ring. The gorge narrowed from the north, with cliffs rising on each side to its southernmost point, where the Hornburg Fortress and the source of the Seeping Stream lay. The Hornburg was built on a large rocky outcrop that extended from the northern cliff of the gorge, and from the fortress to the southern cliff the Deep Wall was built to defend the fortress.
