The Su-37 fighter (Russian: Су-37 "Терминатор", Latinized: Su-37) is a single-seat, multi-role prototype high-speed military aircraft developed and produced by the Russian Military Air Force. As the Su-37 is one of a series of new aircraft derived from the Su-27 fighter, it continues the NATO reporting name of the Su-27 and is called Flanker-F. The Su-37 made its maiden flight in April 1996 at the Zhukovsky Flight Test Center near Moscow.
