- Designed and authorized by LegoMocLoc, this model is based on the dark fortress from a famous movie and faithfully reproduces the details. This model is playable with other MOCs and consists of a total of six modules.
- Barad-dûr was the Dark Lord Sauron's central fortress in Mordor, and served as his base of operations in Middle-earth during the Second and late Third Ages. Held together by dark magic, Barad-dûr was the greatest fortress in Middle-earth in its time. It was originally built in the Second Age and razed to the ground after Sauron's defeat in the War of the Last Alliance. Sauron had Barad-dûr rebuilt late in the Third Age when he regained his power, but the tower was destroyed forever immediately after the destruction of the One Ring.
- This massive fortress was built by Sauron in the land of Mordor, not far from the volcano Mount Doom. The tower took six hundred years to build, and it was the largest fortress built since the fall of Angband during the War of Wrath. Barad-dûr was besieged by the Last Alliance of Elves and Men for seven years during the Second Age, and was razed to the ground after Sauron's defeat at the hands of Isildur. However, because it was created using the power of the One Ring, its foundations could not be destroyed as long as the Ring itself still existed. Because Isildur failed to destroy the Ring, the tower was eventually rebuilt when Sauron returned to Mordor thousands of years later. At some point near the end of the Third Age, Gollum was captured and taken to Barad-dûr, while Gandalf and Aragorn also searched for him. He was tortured for information about the whereabouts of the One Ring, as Sauron had learned that he had once possessed it, and this is how Sauron learned that the One Ring had been found. Satisfied that he had learned all he could from the creature, Sauron released Gollum.
