  • Authored by Cvanhulle, the MOC-151021 New Orleans Cocktail Bar is a modular kit that accurately recreates most of the details of the actual architecture, making it highly collectible.
  • Welcome to New Orleans!
  • The model consists of a typical New Orleans French Quarter corner building, in which a cozy cocktail bar has found its place. The main attraction on the ground floor is the counter, behind which there is a huge bottle rack for the best cocktails in town. The bar also has a piano under a typical staircase that can be swiveled 90 degrees to the first floor.
  • On the first floor you will find a seating area and the entrance to the terrace overlooking the city. The room is dominated by a large model of a red vintage car. On the second floor you will find a pool table and a jukebox, as well as a terrace under a large canopy.
  • The exterior of the building is dominated by a large porch that extends the entire width and side of the building over both floors. The porch features the typical wrought iron decorations that give the building its typical French Quarter look. The porch is decorated with flowering plants.
  • The biggest challenge in this design was finding a good design for the porch that goes around the corner and the effect it had on the placement of the windows and doors in the building, creating a "between the posts" building of 24.5 studs wide. The consequence is that the building "jumps" everywhere 😉.
