  • The essence of the famous British WWII tank is captured in this complex model. This model is ideal for enthusiasts and collectors as it features an accurate 1/30 scale and great attention to detail. There is a degree of simulation both inside and out, the tracks can be driven, the turret can be raised and rotated, the entry and engine compartment cover can be opened.
  • The TOG2, officially known as the Heavy Tank, TOG II, was a British super-heavy tank designed in the early stages of World War II for a scenario in which the battlefields of northern France degenerated into a morass of mud, trenches and craters, as had been the case in World War I. When this did not happen, the tank was deemed unnecessary and the project was terminated. A development of the TOG I design, only a single prototype was built before its termination.
  • The TOG 2 was the second design of the Special Vehicle Development Committee (nicknamed "The Old Gang" as it consisted of people who had worked on the original British tanks of World War I). It was similar to the TOG 1 and retained many of its features. Instead of the TOG 1's track guide running up the top of the hull and back down again - like the British tanks of World War I - the track guide was lower on the way back and the doors were above the tracks.
  • The design included a 6-pounder gun and side supports. For "initial trials" it was fitted with a turret model with dummy guns - a 2-pounder gun, a 3-inch howitzer and a Besa machine gun - and a 3-inch howitzer in the hull. The second turret was simplified and fitted with a QF 3-inch 16 cwt anti-tank gun, derived from the current anti-aircraft gun.
