- Designed and licensed by Huebre, this is a block model of a sea island lighthouse. A lighthouse is a structure on the coast, in a harbor, or on a river that guides ships. Most lighthouses are in the shape of towers and are illuminated by a system of lenses at the top of the tower that directs the light out to sea. Before the advent of electricity, fire was commonly used as a source of light. A lighthouse consists of a light and a tower. The tower body can be made from a variety of building materials, mainly to adapt to and withstand harsh natural conditions such as wind and waves, thus maintaining its stability and durability. Earlier lighthouses symbolized hope as they were illuminated by fire. The model consists of 1,865 pieces, stands 40 cm tall, and stands on a 32x32 base plate, surrounded by water and an observation deck.
