  • This is the Emerald Night Class A2 collection from KernowBrix. It's our version of the Emerald Night set from Lego, the wheel setup is the same and stands at 4-6-2. It is designed for tender propulsion and was built with lights in mind. It can be powered by the older 9V pull motor, the Power Functions motor or the new powered motor. The instructions for the engine on are simple enough to be modified for the other engines and controls and are designed with The train has a fire door that can be opened and the flames changed to a cable for lights from the power pack in the tender to guide, or you can mount your own lights or purchase our KernowBrix lighting solutions which does not require a cable to the tender and has its own battery.
  • "Inspired by the original Emerald Night from Lego. The Emerald Night was supposedly based on the Flying Scotsman. We therefore did a little research on the Flying Scotsman and its counterparts in its class and chose the Gresley / Peppercorn A2 Class as further inspiration, the result is the Emerald Night Class A2.During our research it was discovered that the Flying Scotsman had a double tender superstructure at one point and we liked the look of that so we replicated that with this design too.
