  • Designed and authorized by DarthDesigner, the MOC-175975 Active US Navy Destroyer is inspired by the Russian fourth-generation fighter aircraft. Featuring a structurally sound construction and an exceptional building experience after careful revision and testing. The unique design and color scheme offer high aesthetic and collectible value.
  • The Ticonderoga class of guided missile cruisers is a class of warships of the United States Navy, first ordered and authorized in fiscal year 1978. It was originally planned as a destroyer class, but the increased combat capability of the Aegis Combat System and the AN/SPY-1 passive phased array radar detector, as well as operational capability, were used as justification for changing the classification from DDG (guided missile destroyer) to CG (guided missile cruiser) shortly before the keel laying for Ticonderoga and Yorktown.
  • Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruisers are multi-role warships. Their Mk 41 VLS can fire cruise missiles to attack land targets or SM-2MR/ER anti-aircraft missiles to defend against aircraft or anti-ship missiles. Their LAMPS III helicopters, RUM-139 ASROCs and sonar systems enable them to perform anti-submarine missions. Ticonderoga-class ships are designed to be elements of carrier strike groups or amphibious task forces and to perform missions such as interdiction or escort. With upgrades to their AN/SPY-1 systems and associated missile payloads as part of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System, members of this class have also demonstrated competency as mobile anti-ballistic missile and anti-satellite platforms.
