- Designed and authorized by Your Lego Guy, this is a German Cruiser Admiral Graf Spee assembly model. The German cruiser “Admiral Graf Spee” is the last of three German-class ships, designed to achieve maximum firepower on a relatively small vessel, meeting the 10,000 ton limit. Equipped with experimental diesel engines, radar and advanced targeting system, the advanced technology allows the ship to predict the position of enemy targets and fire accurately, giving it a leading position at the time. Known as a commerce raider in the early days of WWII, this ship was pursued by a British task force consisting of Ajax, Exeter and Achilles. Despite being outnumbered 3 to 1, Admiral Graf Spee managed to put up a great battle, nearly sinking Exeter and damaging the other two ships.
