Santa's Workshop is the legendary workshop where Santa Claus and his elves supposedly live and make the toys and gifts that are distributed at Christmas. The exact "location" of Santa's Workshop varies according to local culture. There are at least eight claimed locations for his workshop. For example, children in Canada send letters to Santa's Workshop at its location at the North Pole in Canada with the unique zip code "H0H 0H0". Children in the United States believe the workshop to be a sprawling commune at the North Pole. Some children in the United Kingdom and Finland tend to believe that Santa's workshop is located in Finland, in Lapland. In addition to the factory where the elves make or distribute toys, the complex also houses the residence of Santa Claus, his wife, companions, and all of the reindeer. Since the workshop has not yet been seen in real life, there is no clear geographic location where the workshop is located.
