  • Product Introduction: Designed and authorized by count_of_brick, this model is a full-scale restoration of a famous World War II warship, equipped with various weapon turrets on the sleek hull.
  • In 1937, the German naval leadership decided to strengthen its fleet with new ships. They were intended to be a further development of the Deutschland-class “pocket battleships” with higher speed and a larger gun caliber. These ships were intended primarily for fighting convoys, which would have forced Britain and its allies to deploy capital ships to protect them. The Germans believed that this would significantly reduce the Royal Navy's attack power.
  • The efforts of German engineers led to the project of a battlecruiser called “O-class”, the main advantages of which were 380 mm main guns and a maximum speed of 34 knots. The project was completed in September 1939, but the cruisers were never built.
