• Designer Description: The Martin F-35 Lightning II is an American single-engine stealth multirole fighter aircraft capable of both air superiority and attack missions. It has a top speed of Mach 1.6 and is the first and only supersonic aircraft capable of STOVL (vertical take off and landing) performance. This MOC is a 550-part 1/50 scale model of the F-35B variant equipped with STOVL capabilities. I choose this variant because I find the extreme versatility and innovative design of this aircraft very appealing. For my previous project, the F-22 Raptor, I chose 1:50 scale, using mostly modified panels and classic bricks, as well as tiles and slants, to make this model as close to reality as possible without making it big and expensive. You will be amazed at the amount of detail and the ease of building this model. The MOC guide comes as a PDF guide.
